The Canada Post Strike May Have Only Just Started

The Canada Post strike has only started in some places.

According to a recent press release, while negotiations continue, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has started strikes in the following areas: Quebec City and La Tuque, Que., Fredericton, St. Stephen, Miramichi, Acadie Bathurst, Campbellton and Edmunston, N.B., Chatham, Clinton, Orangeville, Port Hope, Stratford, Strathroy, Tillsonburg, Wingham, Woodstock, Ont., as well as in Georgetown and Milton

As of last night, Nov. 6, CUPW shut down Canada’s largest processing centre in Toronto for a second time in three weeks.

Since Oct. 22, CUPW’s rotating strikes have shut down Canada Post’s operations in more than 100 communities across the country.
