April 28 — Canada’s National Day of Mourning for workers who have been killed or suffer work-related injury or disease.

Brampton — On April 28, workers, their families, labour leaders and residents in the Peel Region will join others at events in communities throughout Ontario and across Canada to insist upon work that is both safe and healthy. Those gathered will also mourn those workers injured, made ill or killed on the job because of uncontrolled workplace hazards.
